The Arthrogryposis Group Family Weekend
&
Annual General Meeting
The trustees are pleased to announce details of our forthcoming Family Weekend / AGM.
In a year of uncertainty and social distancing from friends and family this will be an ideal opportunity to bring some normality to our TAG family. Therefore, as there have been no events throughout 2020 we would like to see as many of you as possible.
The emphasis this year is on fun and activities for all the family to join in. TAG will be heavily subsidising this family weekend.
Family Weekend 2021
Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th October
at:
Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, Paradise Way, Walsgrave Triangle,
Coventry, CV2 2ST
Programme
Previous weekends have, on the whole been based on medical speakers mixed in with other activities, this year we have decided to make it a fun family get together where we can all join in and have some fun, after all, it’s been a hard 12 months plus.
Programme will include speakers from:
- REMAP – Custom made support to help disabled people live more independent lives
www.remap.org.uk - OHMI - Music Making for people with Physical Disabilities
www.ohmi.org.uk - Over the Wall – A fun camp for children
www.otw.org.uk - Boccia – It’s back by popular demand
www.bocciaengland.org.uk
During the activities we shall be doing something to remember Steve Chambers and Matt Rangel, our much-loved members who we sadly lost last year.
We hope the programme will be well received and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
Come along and catch up with old friends and meet new ones along the way.
We hope to be hiring in a babysitter service from Sweetheart Nannies (who runs our creche) after dinner. This year families will be eating together and then entertainment maybe provided for the teens / adults after.
