TAG Family Weekend is back for 2025.
The TAG family weekends provide a great opportunity for families to meet and socialise and also to gain further information from professionals. Historically the board of trustees have alternated year on year between a more informative weekend with professional speakers and a more relaxed social weekend. After last year being TAG's 40th Anniversary we are alternating to a more informative weekend. We would love to see as many members old and new as possible. Find more details as follows:
Hotel: Village Hotel in Manchester, OL7 0LY.
Date: Saturday 18th October - Sunday 19th October
This year members will need to book their own accommodation either with this hotel or another hotel of their choice in the area. This is to ensure that the accommodation meets the needs of you and your family. We also think this may reduce the costs for many families. TAG will still organise the day events to be hosted at the Village hotel Manchester, OL7 0LY. We will also still be covering the full costs of the day delegate rate - this will include refreshments and lunch throughout the day. (Please note breakfast will not be provided by TAG and members will need to make arrangements directly with their accommodation provider). There will still be option to book an evening meal which will be held in the same location as the day event.
We are asking for a £50 returnable deposit per booking this year, this will be returned to members.
Why do we need to pay a returnable deposit? TAG has to pay the costs for the function rooms, refreshments and evening meal upfront. If members then do not attend we cannot get any of these costs back. There have been previous events that where there has been a high number of on the day cancellations by members or non-attendance which has a financial impact on TAG, a deposit that is refunded to members on attendance limits any financial impact to TAG.
